For over 30 years, YORK hydraulic oils have been constantly evolving. Initially formulated from mineral or synthetic oils, they are replaced whenever possible by biodegradable technologies.
The cooperation and know-how of YORK and MOTOREX laboratories has led to the development of a new biodegradable hydraulic oil - YORK 1079 BIO - ECOSYNT PAO 46 based on synthetic Poly Alpha Olefin (PAO). The compatibility of PAO with ATF oils does not require a flushing procedure.
YORK 1079 BIO - ECOSYNT PAO 46 guarantees a high level of lubrication safety and excellent shear strength. It has been formulated for very low starting temperatures and high operating temperatures. A special effort has been made by our laboratories to improve the behavior and reactions of the oil in the presence of condensation water. It provides a service life up to twice as long as ATF oils, in particular thanks to its excellent resistance to oxidation. The use of a rapidly biodegradable hydraulic oil greatly reduces the harmful effects on the external environment in the event of hose rupture.
YORK 1079 BIO - ECOSYNT PAO 46 has been used successfully for more than 5 years on PistenBully snow groomers in several major ski resorts in Austria, Italy and Switzerland, and will be the new PistenBully recommendation from the next winter season.
